For more than a decade, Villanova University has been ranked No. 1 by U.S. News and World Report in the Best Masters Universities-category, Northern Region, a ranking for schools in the North which offer strong Masters, and undergraduate programs but have fewer doctorate programs. Villanova has several highly regarded academic programs, including an engineering school that is ranked No. 9 among undergraduate engineering programs whose highest degree is a masters. The Villanova School of Business was ranked No. 24 in the 2014 BusinessWeek rankings of undergraduate business schools,[14] No. 69 in the 2012 U.S. News and World Report rankings of undergraduate business schools, and No. 29 in the Financial Times' ranking of top executive MBA programs.[15] Villanova University School of Law is ranked as a Top Law School by the 2009 edition ofU.S. News & World Report's "Best Graduate Schools," placing 61st overall.[16] However, in 2011 it was determined that admissions staff had engaged in inflating reported LSAT scores for admitted students. n case you haven't paid attention to the NBA at all this year, the Golden State Warriors are on the verge of breaking the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' single-season record of 72-10.
Through 76 games, Golden State is 68-8 and has to win five of its last six to break Chicago's mark. During the Warriors' quest for history, many have compared the teams and debated which one would win a seven-game series.
On Saturday, Bulls legend Scottie Pippen, who was a part of that 1995-96 squad, shed some light on who he thinks would come out on top when he spoke with Paul Pabst of The Dan Patrick Show (via producer Seton O'Connor), saying "Bulls in four":
Pippen and the legendary Michael Jordan would have been tasked with trying to shut down the Splash Brothers, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, a duo that is revolutionizing the game with its three-point shooting.
When Pabst asked him, Pippen disclosed who he thought would guard the two Golden State shooters (via O'Connor):
Pippen saying the Bulls would take four straight from a Warriors team that is on the verge of setting the new standard of single-season excellence could be viewed as disrespectful.

Golden State's high-powered offense would have to compete with Chicago's stingy defense, which was the best in the league in 1995-96. In comparison, the Warriors defense ranks fifth in the NBA this season.
But with Golden State's offense, giving up more than 104 points per 100 possessions is OK. It would be a different story if it played a team with several Hall of Famers, though, such as the Bulls featured. However, Pippen and Co. would probably not sweep this Warriors team.
Then again, we'll never know. Let the debate continue.

“I’ve seen this play out before,” Morris said. “There have been a couple players I’ve been here with that have been the best players on the team that came back next year in a new uniform so it’s nothing new.”During Morris’ tenure, Goran Dragic asked to be traded because he was disgruntled, Isaiah Thomas was traded because he was not content with his role and Steve Nash, Grant Hill and Channing Frye said they wanted to stay in Phoenix before negotiations soured them on returning.
“I’ve seen so many do it,” Morris said. “I just didn’t think it would be me like that but it is what it is.”
Morris was traded to Washington in February for the Wizards’ first-round draft pick, which conveys to Phoenix if it is No. 10 or lower. The draft slot is working out ideally for the Suns with Washington currently slotted at No. 12 unless long-shot draft lottery odds changed that.

צפון קרוליינה באמת פשוט יותר טובה מהקבוצות שהיא פוגשת והיא מאד דומיננטית.
ברייס ג'ונסון שחקן מצוין אבל זה ממה שראיתי אז הskills שלו לא מרשים כמו של באדי הילד לדוגמה אבל יכול להיות שלא ראיתי מספיק.

3 אפר 2016 16:28:03מנחם, לא ברור לי למה אתה מתעקש על הקביעה השטחית ש״הגנה אזורית מנצחים עם שלשות״. הרי אתה בעצמך מעלה פעם אחר פעם דוגמאות שמפריכות את זה. אזורית מנצחים על ידי הנעה מהירה של הכדור פנימה והחוצה כששלשות, כמו נגד הגנה אישית, הופכות את ההתקפה למגוונת יותר ולכן גם טובה יותר.
הקביעה שקליעה משלוש ״פותחת את ההגנה״ נכונה לגבי הגנה אישית בדיוק כמו לגבי הגנה אזורית.
