Andrew Wiggins looks like he'll be a two-way NBA star, but overall, the 2014-15 rookie class was both snake-bitten and underwhelming. Enter the new class, which hopes to be healthier and more impactful than its predecessor.

The Minnesota Timberwolves tabbed Karl-Anthony Towns to join two other No. 1 picks on their roster, but there were more Rookie of the Year candidates later in the top 10 of the 2015 Draft. That's what the rookies themselves think, at least.

At the annual Panini Rookie Photo Shoot at the Knicks' practice facility in Tarrytown, New York, earlier this month, 36 rookies answered eight questions about their class, as well as two more about what they're expecting and who they'll be playing this year. And the rooks told us that they liked No. 3 pick Jahlil Okafor, both short- and long-term, more than Towns.

They also told us that Devin Booker can shoot, that Rondae Hollis-Jefferson can defend, that there were a few good point guards in the '15 Draft, and that Kevin Durant has some fans among his newest opponents.

Worth noting: The No. 3 pick got almost twice as many votes as Nos. 1 and 2 combined. Other rookies will get the opportunity to put up numbers, but no team needs its rookie's offense more than the Sixers. Scoring 10.0 points per 100 possessions fewer than the league average last season, they were the worst offensive team in the last 12 years.

      אפשר לראות שב2010/11 חסן וויטסייד נבחר למקום שני בהגנה.
      תודה על הקישורים, זה מהנה להיזכר שפעם השחקנים היו רוקיס צעירים עם ציפיות. יש סיבה שאין קישור ל11/12?

    אני מסכים איתם שאוקפור יהיה רוקי השנה (ההתקפה של ה-76 תתבסס עליו והבוחרים הראו שהם מעדיפים מספרים על ניצחונות בבחירה), אבל לדעתי לקא"ט תהיה קריירה טובה יותר סה"כ.

    ג'וזף יאנג גניבת דראפט של ממש, גם נורמן פאוול שלדעתי יזכר כבחירה החכמה ביותר בדראפט. ג'סטין אנדרסון אתלט בטירוף, וכבר העונה יכול להיות סוג של ג'רלד גרין למאבריקס.

    אני מסכים איתם בקשר לשאר הבחירות, ומד הפופולריות די הגיוני בהתחשב בזה שרובם גדלו על קובי בראיינט בשיאו. מפתיע שדאנקן לא נבחר גבוה יותר.

    ולפי הסקר של 2007/08:

    הרוקיז הימרו שדוראנט רוקי השנה, וצדקו. גם בקשר להורפורד כשחקן שיתרום הכי הרבה והכי מוקדם לקבוצה. הם הימרו שדוראנט יהיה הרוקי (דראפט 2007) עם הכי הרבה אול-סטארים בקריירה, אמרו שניק יאנג יהיה הרוקי שימשוך הכי הרבה תשומת לב (overlooked), שאל ת'ורנטון הוא הרוקי האתלט ביותר (והוא היה אז), ושמוריס אלמונד יהיה השוטר הכי טוב שיצא מהדראפט קלאס הזה (מרקו בלינלי סיים שלישי, דוראנט שישי).

    הם צדקו בקשר לזה שמייק קונלי הוא הפליימיקר הטוב ביותר שיצא מהדראפט, ושהרוקי שהם ידעו הכי פחות עליו הוא יי ז'נז'יליאן (היום כנראה פורצינגיס).

      מצד שני הרוקיס קבעו שדוראנט אפילו לא בחמישיה של הקלעים הכי טובים במחזור, מקום 6 אני חושב. בקיצור יש להם הרבה טעויות כמו לכל הפרשנים, כנראה שהם מקשיבים להם יותר מדי. גם אחרי הפציעה של אודן בשנה השנייה שלו הוא קיבל המון קרדיט ובסוף נאדה.

    מדוע הפרשנים לא סופרים את קובי והרוקיס כן.
    1. הפרשנים שחקנים לשעבר הנגועים יתר על המידה ברומנטיקה.
    2. לרוקיס אין קנה מידה, למרות שבעשר שנים האחרונות עברו הרבה ועדיין קובי בדרך כלל ראשון.
    3. האם בגלל שקובי הצליח בניגוד להערכות בתחילת הקריירה ואגו הפרשנים נפגע.
    4. האם הרוקיס יודעים משהו שהפרשנים לא שמו לו לב.

    בחוכמת הבדיעבד הרוקיס לא הוכיחו שום תובנה מעניינת או שונה ממה ששאר הפרשים ראו. אגב לא לרעתם יש יותר מידי נעלמים במעבר מהקולג' ל-NBA בשביל באמת לנבא.

    לחמודי מטייבה – ראיתי את ביזלי בהמון משחקים בקולג' (קנזס סטייט נראה לי…). הוא היה בלתי ניתן לעצירה והכל במשחק שנראה היה תפור ל-NBA. הוא היה דומיננטי לא פחות ממה שדוראנט היה בטקסס. אני בטוח שמשהו קרה לו. הוא היה 4 מאסיבי אך מעט נמוך ומאוד זריז והוא הפך לציפלון שמשחק מספר 3 ב-NBA. הוא קרקס לא מעט שחקנים שהפכו כוכבים. קלע 26 ולקח 12 ריבאונדים בממוצע (53% מהשדה) כמה שחקים מעמדה 4 הראו כאלה מספרים במכללות לאחרונה.

    ווסטברוק היה אתלט על אבל שחקן כל כך לא מלוטש ב-UCLA לא חושב שאף אחד ציפה שיגיג לרמה שלו היום. לאב היה שמן ואיטי כשיצא מהמכללות.

    רודני הוליס גפרסון הוא אחד השחקנים היותר טובים בדראפט הזה וגם בעיניי הרוקיז הוא מקבל הרבה התייחסות גם הוא סליפר רציני.
    קיילי אוברה יהיה שחקן.
    באופן כללי יש כאן דראפט חזק ועמוק לטעמי- אפילו יותר מהדראפט של שנה שעברה שקיבל הרבה יותר הייפ.
