The mother of former NBA All Star Chris Bosh was named a suspect in a drug trafficking sting in the Dallas suburb of DeSoto, according to TMZ.<\/h2>\n

Former NBA star Chris Bosh is back in the news. It\u2019s no fault of his own, however.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0reports from TMZ Sports\u00a0<\/a>, Bosh\u2019s mother, Freida, is a suspect in a drug trafficking investigation in a Dallas suburb.<\/p>\n

Through official documents, the site learned that the DeSoto Police Department raided a home Friday morning that Freida allegedly lives in after obtaining a search warrant. A DeSoto police representative told TMZ that \u201ca large amount of drug paraphernalia was recovered consistent with narcotics trafficking\u201d was found in the home. The cops believe that the home is owned by Bosh. The two-time NBA champion, however, doesn\u2019t appear to be linked to the alleged crimes.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t believe Chris has any connection short of owning the house,\u201d a law enforcement source told TMZ.<\/p>\n
