1.פיל ג'קסון וג'יני באס החליטו לסיים את היחסים ביניהם

לפי הטוויטרים שלהם האהבה פורחת, והכבוד ההדדי שהם רוכשים אחד לשני לא יכול להיום רם יותר, ועל פניו הכל נראה יפה וטוב כשהם טוענים – שניהם – שכל מה שיש ביניהם היא אהבה עזה אבל "האחריות המקצועית" הגדולה והשונה של כל אחד מהם, ו-"המרחק הגיאוגרפי" לא איפשרו ליחסי גבר-אשה נורמליים להימשך.

לי בא עכשיו לעשות רק דבר אחד: לבכות. כל כך צר לי על הזוג הנחמד והאידיאלי הזה – זיווק בין הניקס והלייקרס שנוצר בשמיים ונחתם ע"י אחד מסגניו של אלוהים.

הם התחילו ברומן כשהוא קיבל את מושכות האימון של הלייקרס ב-1999. לקח לו  13 שנה להחליט שהוא רוצה אותה כארוסתו, והוא נתן לה טבעת אירוסין גדולה (אתם יכולים לראות אותה כאן this (enormous ring

באופן רשמי הוא כמובן אומר שהוא מתעתד – והתעתד מלכתחילה – לסיים את כהונת 4 השנים שלו בניקס (עם שנה נוספת כאופציה) כפי שההסכם והחתימה (וה-12 מיליון לשנה) מחייבים, אבל ביני לבין סומסום, שנינו יודעים שסרובה של ג'יני לתת ל-"COMPANION" שלה לגעת בלייקרס היקרה שלה, היא-היא הסיבה האמיתית לחיסול היחסים ולא שום דבר אחר.

Is Rajon Rondo already past his expiration date in Chicago?

The Bulls haven’t won many down-to-the-wire games this season, and Monday’s 90-85 nail-biter victory over the Indiana Pacers reminded us that yes, the Bulls are allowed to play fun basketball.

The Bulls won a fourth quarter for only the second time in December and the ninth time on the season. What made the event even more remarkable was that point guard Rajon Rondo was benched for the entirety of the quarter, with youngsters Jerian Grant and Michael Carter-Williams playing in his place. That was absolutely the right move, and one that Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg must implement more often in the future.

We’re only 31 games into the season, but there is already boatloads of evidence on how the Bulls perform better without Rondo. He’s an awful defender and the worst shooter of any starter in the league. True shooting percentage combines 3-point, 2-point, and free throw shooting into one measure, and Rondo’s 42 percent mark is dead last by a mile of the 107 players with at least 25 starts.

Rondo is well below-average shooting the ball from every spot on the floor. He’s been airballing layups with a higher frequency than any player I can remember, and general manager Gar Forman is the only guy in Chicago better at avoiding contact. (Editor’s note: Damn.)

Rondo has hit the same amount of free throws as he’s yelled at assistant coaches in December (1-of-5 on both). His 24 free throw attempts on the season pales in comparison to the 111 average from other starters league-wide.

Rondo still brings some value with his clever passing, but even in that area his talent doesn’t really fit this team. He rarely assists on 3-pointers  — not because he can’t but rather because the Bulls are so bad at taking them — and a high percentage of his assists come from mid-range shots that take little skill to create.

Rondo is at his worst though in fourth quarters, where teams completely ignore him and send an extra defender at Jimmy Butler or Dwyane Wade. It’s not a coincidence that the Bulls’ 27 fourth quarter points on Monday sans-Rondo were the most they had scored since a Dec. 15 blowout loss, much of it against the Milwaukee Bucks’ bench unit. Yet Hoiberg had ridden his star point guard religiously to close out games.

The horror may be coming to a close, as Monday night marked an important turning point in the Hoiberg era. The Bulls coach is still a pushover when it comes to treatment of his stars. Look no further than his “decision” to play Wade the entirety of the fourth quarter in that game. Wade explained how the Bulls made that choice.

“[Coach Fred Hoiberg] looked at me, and I was like [shaking his head no],” Wade said.

Rondo no longer gets that kind of leeway.

Hoiberg is a mild-mannered coach, but his laissez-faire attitude does seem to evaporate when his players don’t reward his trust. He benched Nikola Mirotic for two games after a horrid stretch of play and minutes for his young players have been all over the place, ranging from week-long DNPs to closing out games at the drop of a hat. For his stars, the decisions on what to do are ultimately up to them, and Rondo’s star is fading fast.

Rondo played the part of good soldier and congratulated his teammates afterward on their solid play in the victory on Wednesday. He has said all the right things to the media, and could still be a veteran voice with diminished playing time. But he wants to play in the end of these games. He’s essentially a mercenary, having signed a one-year $14 million deal with a partial $3 million guarantee and option for next year that nobody believes the Bulls will pick up. He’s auditioning for his next contract at a time where average starters will make upward of $15 million per year.

The Rondo-Hoiberg marriage was supposed to work because Hoiberg would be hands-off enough to let Rondo do his thing. Is that model sustainable when the point guard is sabotaging the team? Will Rondo stay level-headed for the first time in his life, mentoring a group of players that he’ll likely never see again in the pursuit of a 42-win season?

Kevin O’Connor at the Ringer suggested in his Tuesday column that the Bulls should explore trading Rondo. He’s a toxic asset and they’ll have to take on an equally bad deal or pair an asset like a draft pick or promising young player with him on his way out.

Still, that may be the move, and there are some point guards that look like they could be had. Devin Booker has made Eric Bledsoe or Brandon Knight available from the Phoenix Suns, the Miami Heat may be looking to rebuild without Goran Dragic, and Jrue Holiday is in the last year of his deal with the New Orleans Pelicans, who are going nowhere and might not be able to re-sign him.

If the Bulls can’t find a suitor via trade, waiving Rondo may be an option as well. Vice president of basketball operations John Paxson has paid players to go home in the past. He amnestied Carlos Boozer in 2015 and waived Tim Thomas in 2006 and Eddie Robinson in 2004. The Bulls could waive Rondo, eating his current salary and using the stretch provision on his $3 million guarantee to spread out the salary cap damage to $1 million per season over the next three years.

Rondo is not only bad, but he’s also blocking the development of younger guys behind him who are better and more promising. Grant and Carter-Williams both play far better defense, grade out better in advanced statistics like ESPN’s RPM, are bigger threats to shoot and are more a part of the team’s long-term future. The right move is to play those guys, and the Bulls are finally showing signs of moving on from their Rondo mistake. Paxson foreshadowed Rondo’s benching in a Christmas day radio appearance on 670 The Score.

“At some point this year,” he said. “We may have to give young guys more opportunities, to see if they can develop into players.”

The year is coming to an end, and that time is now.

    תזכיר לי מנחם איך מעלים לפה תמונות כי שבוע שעבר דגתי קצת על השובר בבת גלים ולא אכפת לי לשים פה תמונה שלי דג מלפני כמה ימים שתוכל לראות את בת גלים קצת:)

    ג'יני נראית מעולה מנחם, עדות ראייה מיום ראשון האחרון מהסטייפלס סנטר.
    מה שמעניין חוץ מזה – החברה הכי טובה שלה בביזנס ובשעות הפנאי היא לינדה ראמביס, היהודיה (ממוצא מרוקאי!) ואשתו של קורט שכידוע משמש כעוזר מאמן בגארדן. התיאוריה שלי: בעלה של לינדה הדליף משהו על פיל ועכשיו שתיהן אלמנות קש מבוקשות בלה לה לנד

    חבל שאתה מוריד את הרמה של האתר בגלל שנגמרו לך הנושאים לכתוב עליהם. זה אתר על כדורסל ולא אתר צהוב, וחבל שאתה הופך אותו לכזה. האתנחתא השבועית של מומי לגמרי מספיקה לי. אתה יכול עכשיו לקלל כמה שאתה רוצה ולשלוח אותי לאלף אתרים אחרים, אבל אני קורא קבוע שלך, וכל עוד אתה מדבר על כדורסל אין לי מילה רעה אחת להגיד, לא משנה מה אתה כותב. אבל כשאתה כותב על נושאים כאלו זה פשוט חבל
